Our Story
Being born and raised here on the Island of Hawaii, we learn to appreciate the grounding connection to nature all around us. We learn to respect the power of the ocean and of the volcanoes, and the wild beauty of our Island. From the lava to the forests, our Island carries a magical, magnetic energy. It reminds us to stop doing, to start being, and to take care of yourself-so you can take care of others and feel your best.
My professional Journey started in Florida, where I studied Cosmetology at the AVEDA Institute. After graduating in 2005, I trained under Master Stylists in Miami and Tampa, and moved back to Hawaii to continue my career as a Hair and Makeup Artist.
I began specializing in Bridal Hair and Makeup in 2007 in addition to Hair Cutting, Coloring, and Brazillian Blowouts. I opened my first Hair Studio in Holualoa in 2008, became I-tip Extension Certified by DreamCatchers in 2010, opened my first Beauty Salon in 2017; became Bellami Extension Certified in 2022, and have added Red Light Therapy, Tanning, and Head Spa Experiences in 2026.
My daughter Mele, is currently pursuing her beauty operator apprenticeship training under me. She can help with any questions or concerns during your visit.
We hope to continue doing what we love and creating a space for our guests to get away from the busyness of life to re-charge.
